Kingdom Harvest: From Transaction to Territory

Preached as a Guest Message by Pastor Mat Tolentino at Victory Churches of Asia in Malabing during their Harvest Festival and 16th Church Anniversary on August 2, 2026.

Harvest is not a transaction with God—it is the yield of a Kingdom you belong to. Move from a pagan transactional mindset (giving to appease God or force a blessing) to Kingdom territory stewardship.

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." — Matthew 6:33

"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church (ekklesia), and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." — Matthew 16:18

EKKLESIA | 🏛️ Ekklesia (ἐκκλησία) A governing assembly authorized by the King to administer legislative rule, order, and stewardship in a specific territory.

1. From Transaction to Territory: Pagan altars run on transaction—giving to buy protection or force a blessing. The Kingdom of God operates on territory ownership where the King owns everything and provides for His citizens.

STEWARD | 🗝️ Oikonomos (οἰκονόμος) A manager of a household or territory who administers the owner's estate with full authority, wisdom, and accountability.

2. The Ekklesia Mandate: In Matthew 16:18, Jesus restored Genesis 1:26-28. The church is not a passive audience; it is a governing body stewarding territory and bearing Kingdom harvest.
