Hindi ka binigyan ng Diyos ng utos na i-honor lang ang mabubuting magulang—kundi ang iyong ama't ina.
Honoring our parents isn't always easy. There are times when we disagree with their decisions, struggle with their weaknesses, or even feel misunderstood. But God's command to honor our father and mother is not based on their perfection—it is rooted in His design for the family.
Honoring doesn't mean agreeing with everything they do. It means choosing respect, love, and humility even when it's difficult. As followers of Christ, we reflect His character not only in how we treat strangers, but also in how we treat those closest to us.
The test of spiritual maturity is often seen in how we honor those God placed in our lives first.
