Worship is frequently misunderstood as merely slow singing during a Sunday church service. But the first mention of worship in Scripture occurs when Abraham prepared to offer Isaac on Mount Moriah—proving that worship is rooted in sacrificial surrender and deep communion.

"The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" — 1 Corinthians 10:16

COMMUNION | 🤝 Koinōnia (κοινωνία) Intimate fellowship, joint participation, and sharing in the life and sacrificial covenant of Jesus Christ.

"He said to his servants, 'Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.'" — Genesis 22:5

WORSHIP | 🙇‍♂️ Shachah (שָׁחָה) To bow down, prostrate oneself, surrender personal self-will, and yield absolute reverence to Almighty God.

Life Application: True worship costs us something. King David declared, 'I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God offerings that cost me nothing' (2 Samuel 24:24). True worship is demonstrated when you choose obedience over convenience.
