About CSB
It was in June 1999 when about thirty people decided to form an independent church that would fully and freely express their calling from God. We decided to call the church Jesus the Lord of Hosts – the militant name of God, because of our distinct call to spiritual warfare and deliverance. Coming from diverse church backgrounds, we started worshiping at Room 206, Cabrera Building, in Timog Avenue, Quezon City . What began as a small group of 30 worshipers grew rapidly to more than a hundred, thus prompting us to rent the two rooms in Cabrera Building, Rooms 205-206. After about a year, we had to move again while putting up the present building here in Timog. For six (6) months, the worship services were held in Algimon Building, Taytay. At about the same time we also started giving birth to our daughter churches. The first one was Binangonan, then Balanga, Bataan, and the birthing goes on. We believe in and practice church planting as we believe that it is one of the most effective ways of bringing souls to Jesus Christ. On August 2006, we received a new name from God. We became Church So Blessed, a bold declaration of faith that we are blessed as we follow God’s prophetic destiny for our church. We continue to believe God for a big harvest – more pastors, more workers, and more daughter churches. Always more!!! To date, we have planted more than 100 churches in the Philippines and overseas. We have daughters churches in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the United States. We believe that God has called us to bring His gospel and spread His glory to the ends of the earth. And by God’s grace, we will!
