It was in June 1999 when about 30 people decided to form an independent church that would fully and freely express their calling from God. We decided to call the church Jesus the Lord of Hosts – the militant name of God, because of our distinct call to spiritual warfare and deliverance.

Coming from diverse church backgrounds, we started worshiping at Room 206, Cabrera Building, in Timog Avenue, Quezon City . What began as a small group of 30 worshipers grew rapidly to more than a hundred, thus prompting us to rent the two rooms in Cabrera Building, Rooms 205-206.

Our Identity

Who We Are

Church So Blessed International  is a community of believers that love God and love people. We believe that God has called us to walk in His love and give it away to everyone- to the Philippines and the world.

We believe that one effective and Biblical way of giving away God’s love to people is by sharing Jesus to individuals, connecting them in small groups, and planting churches where they will be nurtured. To date, we have over 80 churches planted in the Philippines and overseas.

What We Believe In

We believe that there is one God- existent in three persons- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Way to eternal life. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives us power to witness for God and His kingdom.

We believe that God’s plan is to see His “kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven” through manifestations of His love and power.

We believe that God gave His infallible word to mankind through His Word, the Bible.
We believe the church to be Christ’s body on earth, meant to live in power, the same way as the Head, Jesus Christ, did.

Our Distinctives

Church So Blessed International has embraced as its central mission and vision “revival”. The distinctives we carry as a church are all aimed towards fulfilling revival.

As followers of Jesus, we are engaged in a personal and corporate combat against satan and his demons.  We are to use God’s power and authority, and all available spiritual weapons, to pull down or destroy strongholds of the enemy in the life of an individual, church or society as a whole.

We believe that even when a person has believed in Jesus, there is still the possibility of living under a curse, bondage or demonic influence, thus, the need for deliverance.  This is to break the enemy’s hold in the individual using the power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, and all available spiritual weapons, thereby restoring freedom and fullness in his relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Holiness is God’s character.  The Bible is replete with descriptions of our God as a Holy God.  One of His names is the “Holy One of Israel”.  Just as our God is holy, He also expects that His people will be holy.  By holiness, we mean a life that is not conformed to this world, but a life transformed into the image of Christ.

God has given spiritual gifts to the church, to empower His people to do His works.  It is by these different manifestations of the gifts that the church becomes a whole body fitted together to manifest the life of Christ in the Church.

We believe that worship is God’s prescription for us to see His manifest presence.  The Lord dwells in the praises of His people.  Thus, we sing, not because it is part of a program but because we long to see God come.  And when He comes, He moves and He will have His way.

Revival is our assignment from heaven.  God wants His kingdom to come on earth through revival.  We want to see a church that is filled with members who carry the DNA of revival—preaching the good news of Jesus everywhere and followed by signs and wonders.
